Dr. Marcus Jones
Dr. Marc graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the original and most prestigious Chiropractic University in the world, in 1986 along with his twin brother Dr. Shawn. He moved to Memphis, Tennessee for a short associateship and then moved to Chattanooga Tennessee. In June of 1987 Dr. Marc opened his first private practice on Lee Highway while Dr. Shawn simultaneously opened his practice in Hixson Tennessee.
Dr. Marc has extensive post-graduate studies in many various Chiropractic techniques including Applied Kinesiology (AK), Sacral-Occipital Technique (SOT), low force Cranial Adjusting, Extremity adjusting, Acupressure, Nutrition, and Exercise. For over 15 years now, Dr. Marc has learned and utilized the Alphabiotic Unification Process as a key part of his patients care. Dr. Marc also has been studying wellness care for years and became certified in Brimhall wellness care in 2005.
Dr. Marc was involved in a serious head-on car collision in 1989 that precipitated his retirement from practice in 1990, for a period of 4 years. He had 5 ruptured discs, 2 neck and 3 low back resulting in constant pain and weakness in his neck, back, legs and arms. During this time he took a year to heal, rehabilitate, and exercise in Phoenix, Arizona. Knowing the power all of us have to heal and the importance to keep your power 'turned on'; Dr. Marc received Alphabiotic Alignments, road his mountain bike 27 miles per day, and lifted weights 6 days per week! The results were amazing!
After rehabilitating, Dr. Marc accepted an instructor position at Palmer College of Chiropractic in the Technique department in 1991. He accepted the position of Chairman of the department of Chiropractic protocol department (Business and Ethics) soon after arriving; where he helped to research and develop the departments’ 120 credit hours over the next 2 1⁄2 years before leaving to re-enter private practice again in Chattanooga, TN.
In 1996, Dr. Marc and his family moved to Rock Rapids, Iowa and opened private practice there until selling the business in 1999 and then focusing on Horse and Animal Chiropractic ever since. He re-entered private 'human' practice again with his office in Harrisburg, South Dakota in November of 2001. Dr. Marc opened 'HARRISBURG CHIROPRACTIC' where the care was excellent and affordable for the entire family and everyone who seeks truth and improved health by focusing on the CAUSE of your problems instead of masking the symptoms.
In 2002 Dr. Marc decided to move his office to Sioux Falls and is now located in a former medical clinic that has been remodeled at 12th St. and Cleveland Ave. In 2002 Dr. Marc started attending the Brimhall Wellness seminars and soon became certified in Brimhall Wellness care and working with specialized equipment including the Erchonia PL5 Cold laser. This holds Dr. Jones to a higher standard of specialized wellness care for those patients who desire wellness and improved overall health. He realizes that there are 6 keys and 10 steps to wellness and that all 10 steps are essential for patients who choose to experience a higher and improved level of health and wellness. These include Structure, Electromagnetics, Allergies/Sensitivities, Specialized Nutrition, Toxicities, Emotions, and Electrical Pollution.

He also travels and speaks, and does horse and animal clinics and presentations where he explains and demonstrates the latest and very best in Animal Chiropractic and Alternative Health treatments for horses, dogs, cats, and all other pets. He enjoys a great working relationship with local Veterinarians who realize the work Dr. Marc does compliments the animals' regular Veterinary care.
