Diagnostic Procedures Include:
- Neurological Testing with electronic and computerized methods, such as EMG (electromyography), SSEP (Somatosensory Evoked Potentials), and NCV (Nerve Conduction Velocities)
- Computerized Range of Motion and Muscle Testing that enables our physicians to set goals and chart patient progress
- X-ray Imaging, using a computerized x-ray unit and high-speed film systems that reduce patient exposure to radiation
- Physical Exams including annual physicals, school physicals, and sports physicals
- Scoliosis Testing to determine abnormal spinal curvatures or deformities
- Carpal Tunnel Screening to diagnose and detect as early as possible local neuropathy versus arthritic conditions
Treatment Services Include:
- Medical Treatment - Evaluation of injuries including, but not limited to, sports, auto accidents, work related, pain management, trigger point injection, tendon sheath and joint injection to decrease pain inflammation and swelling, release muscle spasms and improve motion.
- Chiropractic Adjustments - Our doctor's use a variety of techniques, adapted to the individual, to remove Subluxation and restore proper nerve function.
- Physical Therapy - Modalities include hot packs, cryotherapies, and various forms of electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, iontophoreses, parafin wax, traction, and muscle-strengthening exercises that maintain joint alignment and reduce the incidence for further injury.
- Soft Tissue Manipulation - this form of manipulation and massage, used to treat acute and chronic muscle injuries, is particularly helpful in the treatment of sports and traumatically induced injuries, from the rotator cuff to plantar fascias. Our staff utilizes various soft tissue manipulation techniques based on the individuals needs.
- Rehabilitation Excersise - These strengthen and stretch the musculoskeletal system and restore proper mechanics of the spine, range of motion, and muscle integrity.
- Manipulation under Anesthesia - This highly specialized procedure has proven extremely beneficial for severe injuries, such as disc herniation and for patients suffering from chronic pain.
- Massage Therapy - Our therapist's use Swedish, and Shiatsu massage to treat injuries, induce relaxation and reduce stress.
- Acupuncture - an ancient Chinese Technique, which uses needles, placed at particular points along meridian's bursitis, sciatica, and joint problems.
- Podiatry - Surgery and treatment of foot and ankle injuries.
- Acupressure (Meridian Therapy) - A variation of Acupuncture, this technique uses electrical or manual stimulation.
- Sports Medicine - A comprehensive evaluation and multi-disciplinary approach to help correct muscular and skeletal imbalances caused by sports injuries or inherent weaknesses. When proper function is restored, athletes are able to reach their optimal potential.
